My name is Tora Harris and I have been a Licensed Massage Therapist since 2021.

While attending Ivy Tech Community College's School of Massage Therapy, I completed a 6-month internship at The Spine Worx in Lafayette, IN, and continued to work there after earning my license until opening my own practice, March 2023. I have gained additional certifications, including prenatal and cancer massage therapy and look forward to expanding my understanding through routine continuing education classes.

I am honored to say I am now the gracious owner of ELite Massage Therapy by Tora. My mom was my greatest supporter and inspiration. This is the reason I used the initials of her name, Ethel Lee, to name my business ELite. I specialize in therapeutic massage techniques, including: Swedish, deep tissue, and trigger point therapy.

Because I'm a therapist who believes in the transformative power of touch, I take a holistic approach, considering not only the physical but also the emotional and spiritual aspects of my client’s well-being as we seek to address acute and chronic pain. With my warm and compassionate demeanor, I strive to create a comfortable and rejuvenating experience that promotes relaxation and healing.

When I'm not at work I enjoy singing along to praise music, cooking, visiting with friends, and playing card games. I've recently begun swimming and love it! I grew up in the city and now marvel at the beauty of life in the country. Oh, and tacos. Tacos are amazing!

Swedish Massage Therapy is a type of massage therapy combining rhythmic tapping and long, kneading strokes to target muscles for increased relaxation, improved blood flow, and decreased stress and tension.

No you do not need to. However it’s always a good idea to hydrate!! You will receive water after your massage!
For massage therapy you will be asked to undress to your level of comfort before getting on the table under the top sheet. Most people leave their underwear on. Only the area that we are working on will be undraped at the time.
